Hi, everyone!
It's an ABC (Anything But a Card) Day over at Catch the Bug, and it's my turn to create something! :0) With Valentine's Day fast approaching, I decided it would be a sweet idea to treat my son to some chocolates, so I put together this great bag (a cut file I purchased from Silhouette) and decorated it with the most recent Bugaboo Stamps freebie, Ava Heart.
This is the bag front

I used PSE to add the heartbeat image to the digi. :0)

A Bugaboo Color Challenge

It's Saturday, and that means the fun of last week's challenge never stops over at the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog.....today we have a new challenge for you! The challenge runs all week, and it's a great way to build up your Bugaboo image inventory! By entering your project, you could win up to SEVEN Bugaboo images! Woohoo! And all for just linking up a project that goes along with this week's theme, which is a

"COLOR CHALLENGE"

Aren't these gorgeous red-velvet colors?! I'm certain you can come up with something fab for this one!

My card uses an adorable image that was part of Jodies January Club Kit back in 2010. She's not offering kits, anymore, so you can pick this guy up at the store individually! :0) This image is called Dino Heart 1.
I pulled out some old Sizzix papers to use that I have always adored, and my Sizzlits. I punched out the sentiment with my Word WIndow punch, and added some blingy heart stickers and rhinestones.

Stamping Dragon Deisigns Pyramage & A Free SVG Bag!

Hi, everyone!

I thought I'd switch things up a bit with my Stamping Dragon Designs post today. Normally I create a card with the adorable dragon images that Janette offers, but today I want to show you what I've created using one of the beautiful Decoupage and Pyramage Pages that she has in her store!

This bag is an svg file I created, inspired by my great friend, Cely! :0)

Both sides of the bag are decorated the same.

The handle is made up of sea horses, starfish and dolphins.

The Lighthouse Pyramage is actually a four layer file, and comes as ovals or squares, but I kept messing up the last smallest oval cut, so I gave up and just used three. lol! It was "one of those" moments! I added some inking to the edges of each layer to give it some depth.

The Beach Bag SVG file contains the bag, a bottom layer to go under the word "Enjoy" and the frame around the word. The bag is one cut, and all pieces fit on the 12x12 at the same time. There are two files in the folder: one with no score lines, and one with. For the one with score lines, tou have to change the line style over to dashes after you open it.

I did not create this one as a GSD file, but if you need it that way, please ask.

The final bag measures approximately

1-3/4" x 7-1/2" x 3-1/4"

Here's my card for this one! I am so in love with the new Guinea Pig critter that Jodie has drawn for today's freebie! I think he is so stinkin' CUTE!! I had a guinea pig when I was a little girl, but only for a short time (my mom decided she didn't like him, so off to aunties house he went!) I did have hamsters when I was in my 'tweens, and I tried to color this guy after the way one of my Teddy Bear Hansters was colored.....a soft golden brown. :0)

I also used a new Quickutz die for my dress form and skirt, and my Nesties Lotus Pendant die. The sentiment was added by me in PSE to one of the image extras in the digipaper pack. I used my Cameo Print to Cut feature to cu that out, and popped it up with some pop dots. The lace I added tot he edges of the card was a white lace. I added color to darken it by "mooshing" it into a stamp pad. :0)

My card uses one of my all-time favorite Stella images - Stella Birthday - aged to perfection.

I used some Nesties for the frame and ovals. The party hat is cut from a Sizzlit, and blinged up with some Stickles. The dots around the frame and on Stella's hat are also Stickles. The scalloped sentiment and larger oval base are SU punches. A little bit of paper glaze gives her glasses a realistic look, and adds some depth to the balloon.
